Today’s episode revealed Collin LaHay and Devin Hunter putting up over $400 in a single day without spending a dime of their own resources. Those are some impressive numbers considering that Collin and Devin are both somewhat new to the affiliate marketing field.
Jonathan Van Clute and Jani Gaffor SMOKED them by contrast on the first day of the two day challenge.
It is going to be interesting to see if Uberaffiliate is able to pump enough money into Collin LaHay’s campaigns to buy him the win. Rumor on the set has it that Paul hates Jonathan VanClute and would do anything to see him trounced in the show finale. There has even been talk of Paul pumping whatever he needs to into Colin LaHay’s campaigns to push him over the top.
We have heard that Uber wants to show his readers what a joke this show is by buying a win for a contestant and then posting a picture of him holding the Wright’s Jewelers Immunity Ring. It is no secret that Uber basically pumped $1600 into Collin LaHay’s account in the first individual challenge. Collin knows he has an ace in his pocket when he needs it.
The question is, did Collin play his cards too soon, and how much money is a Paul willing to spend to be a part of the show when he could have just auditioned in the first place for free?
Jonathan VanClute is clearly intimidated by Uber based on his confessionals on the set. Will he be able to hang in there against Collin, or was the Uber account pump a one time deal?
A few days back when all of the reviews were coming in on the major blogs about the Top Affiliate Challenge Shoemoney reminded me that any press is good press as long as you believe in your product.
I have to say that I BELIEVE in the Top Affiliate Challenge product. There were some unexpected twists and turns along the way, but in the end I think we are wrapping up the show in pretty good shape.
Today we eliminated John Chow in a move that no one expected, and we are down to our victorious guru, Ken McArthur and six of the top contestants we had in the cast.
Life threw us curve balls and we rolled with the punches. now we have six highly motivated earners and once we cut through the reaction to the Chow elimination expect some in-depth education as we reduce the number of contestants.
Thanks for sticking with the show. Each episode gets better and better in so many ways, and I wish all of you could be here to see the amazing hours our contestants and video people have been putting in. It is nearly super-human.
We have a very interesting way you can help your favorite Top Affiliate Challenge contestant today. The contestants were just informed that they will be sending bidders to a blog auction that is housed in this post.
One person will be eliminated today, and while we can’t tell you who is on the chopping block, we can tell you that you can support your favorite contestant by placing a bid on the awesome collection of prizes we have gathered below:
- An Amazon Kindle ($360 value)
- A LIFETIME subscription to ShoeMoney Tools ($250/month value)
- 2 VIP Tickets to Ken McArthur’s JV Alert Live Conference ($2500 value)
- A FREE Paid Post on John Chow’s famous blog (a $450 value)
That is easily over $5,000 in some pretty sweet stuff. All you have to do to have a shot at winning it all is posting a BID below in the comments section. Here’s how it will work:
You place a comment on this post stating the name of the contestant who sent you (or the name of the contestant you want to support) and your bid amount. You MUST use your real name and email in the appropriate comment boxes so we can contact you for payment.
This auction ends at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time. Once the auction ends, we will attempt to contact the winner via email. The winner will have 10 minutes to pay for the auction vi PayPal to the provided address. IF for any reason we do not have a payment from the winning bidder within 10 minutes, we will move down the line to the previous high bidders until we have one.
Contestants MAY NOT bid on the auction themselves. Good luck and happy bidding!
We just finalized a deal with OfferVault.com that will allow the Top Affiliate Challenge contestants to access the HUGE volume of research that will make their campaigns more effective and more profitable.
OfferVault crunches data from 25+ networks (about 6 of which are sponsors of the Top Affiliate Challenge) and over 10,000 affiliate offers to determine who has the best conversion rates and the highest payouts.
This service will enable our contestants to:
- Save hours of research time
- Find the highest paying offers
- Do research on specific market niches
- Receive alerts about new offers as they become available
Thanks to the kind folks at OfferVault for making their service available on the show. Be sure to watch how this kind of market and niche information is critical for any serious affiliate marketer.

We are pleased to announce that WebJamAds will be this year’s LeaderBoard Report sponsor for the Top Affiliate Challenge.
The LeaderBoard Report is perhaps the single most important event on the show. It determines how the teams rank when compared, and even who is in danger of being eliminated from the show.
Please take a moment to sign up as a affiliate with WebJamAds and be sure to say hi to Charity over there. She is coming out to help the contestants better promote the networks’ offers for the first few days of the show. Welcome aboard guys!
It was officially announced today that Ty Hurd has left the cast of the Top Affiliate Challenge for personal reasons. The producers of the show quickly selected a replacement contestant and within hours the empty slot was filled again.
Collin De Ruyck got the call and stepped up to the challenge. The second Canadian to make it into the Top Affiliate Challenge Cast, Collin is a plumber by trade and a single father. You can read his complete show bio here.
Its been a VERY tough decision, but the producers of Top Affiliate Challenge have selected the final 2 contestants for Season 1.
They are:
- Collin Lahay
- Ian Fernando
With that said, I remember what it was like when I sat by the phone and waited for the phone call from Eric Holmlund when he selected me to appear on Next Internet Millionaire. I have been through a process very similar to this one before and I know emotions run high.
We have pointed out from the beginning that Top Affiliate Challenge is a multi-season event. If you were not selected by the producers for one of the two final slots, we all STRONGLY encourage you to submit another video for next season. There were some really great people in the top 25% that we could not select - we only had 2 slots available.
Thank you so very much to everyone who auditioned. You have our word that an entertaining and informative show is in store for you in a mere 2 weeks. Our product IS the show, and everything we have will be available for FREE on the website. It is our hope that you will be entertained and learn a lot from our gurus, contestants, and bonus footage clips.
Ken also took some time to review the Top 10 and make a couple picks from the Top 25% of the Top Affiliate Challenge auditions. Here is a video of who Ken likes for his team and who he is not too sure about.
